- The Claudia Maccabruni award was established on the first anniversary of the death of Claudia Maccabruni, who passed away prematurely on 3 April 2009. The award, worth €1,500, is given to the author of a master's or doctoral thesis defended at the University of Pavia in the last five calendar years, particularly noteworthy for its scientific quality and related to topics investigated by the distinguished scholar, who held the chair of History of Archaeology.
- The Enrica Malcovati award, established in memory of the distinguished late professor of Latin literature, is awarded to a graduate who has defended a thesis in a discipline related to Latin studies in the last five years. The prize, currently worth €4,000, is awarded by a committee comprising the Head of the Department of Humanistic Studies and two professors appointed by the Departiment Council.
- The Lucilla Ranzato award, established in memory of a young graduate who died prematurely, is awarded to the best thesis in disciplines related to Latin studies discussed in the last three years. The theses are evaluated by a committee comprising a member appointed by the Ranzato family and two professors appointed by the Department of Humanities . The prize currently consists of monetary award (€1,000).
